The Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce hosted a spectacular golf day at the prestigious Rotherham Golf Club on Friday, bringing together business professionals and golf enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition, networking, and fun. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the excellent organisation by the Chamber and the warm hospitality provided by the golf club.
The Day Unfolds
Despite a few brief showers in the morning, the weather quickly cleared up, and the sun made a welcome appearance towards the end of the day. Participants from various companies took on the challenging holes of Rotherham Golf Club, showcasing their golfing skills and enjoying the camaraderie that events like these foster.
One of the highlights of the day was the Hit the Green Challenge, sponsored by our company, which took place at the 9th hole. This challenge added an extra layer of excitement, as participants aimed to land their shots on the green to win a sleeve of Titleist Pro V1s.
The challenge brought out the best in many golfers, who relished the opportunity to showcase their precision.
